What We Do

Documentation Review

We review your existing Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), Product Information File (PIF), formulation and available supporting documentation to identify missing, inconsistent or unclear information before the Responsible Person appointment and CPNP notification.

We explain what needs to be provided, corrected or clarified before the product can proceed to the next stage of our service.

Label Review

We review your proposed EU product labels and provide practical guidance on the information required for your cosmetic products, including ingredient declarations, warnings, Responsible Person details and other applicable labelling information.

We identify inconsistencies between the label and the product documentation and provide clear correction guidance before the final label is confirmed.

CPNP Notification

Once the required documentation and final product information have been confirmed, we prepare and submit the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP) notification for the products covered by our service.

We use the confirmed product, formulation, packaging and Responsible Person information to complete the notification and keep the relevant notification records as part of our service.

EU Responsible Person

We act as the EU Responsible Person for cosmetic products covered by our written mandate and provide our Responsible Person details for use on the applicable EU product labels.

We maintain access to the required PIF and relevant regulatory records and act as the EU contact point for competent authorities where required for the products we represent.

Product Readiness & Service Scope

Before We Can Complete Your Setup

You can start by submitting the cosmetic documentation you currently have. We review your CPSR, PIF, formulation, supporting documents and proposed EU label information and identify anything that needs to be provided, corrected or clarified.

Before the RP setup and CPNP notification are completed, the required product documentation and final product information must be available and consistent. This normally includes the CPSR, PIF, final formulation, relevant supporting documentation and final EU label artwork.

Service Boundaries

Products involving nanomaterials, unusual ingredients or claims, significant documentation gaps or other matters requiring specialist assessment may require additional review before the final service scope is confirmed.

CPSR preparation, laboratory testing and full PIF compilation are not included in our standard Cosmetics Responsible Person service. Where additional work is required, we will explain the next steps before proceeding.

  • Scented Candles

    Fragrance composition and classification may require additional review under REACH, CLP, UFI or poison-centre notification rules, together with relevant product safety requirements.

  • Toys

    Products designed or intended for children's play are subject to specific EU toy safety and conformity requirements.

  • Cookware

    Pots, pans and other articles intended to come into contact with food require review of the applicable EU food-contact requirements.

  • Electrical & Electronic Products

    Chargers, powered devices, battery products and other electrical or electronic equipment may require CE-related and sector-specific conformity documentation.
